Stadium Sportsmanship
As members of the National District, the Occoquan Region, and the Virginia High School League, we would like to remind everyone of the high standards of sportsmanship expected from those in attendance regarding the players, fans, and officials for today’s contest. Spectators please remember to cheer positively for your team and not against the opponents or officials. We also remind everyone that noisemakers are prohibited.
All spectators should remain in the bleachers during the event. Please note that fences marked with RED fence topping are designated as NO STANDING areas in the stadium.
Finally, the administration and staff of Annandale High School reserves the right to remove anyone for inappropriate behavior. Our opponents and officials are our guests.
Please remember that spectators represent their school and community, as do the athletes.

J. Wallace Bolding Stadium
In the spring of 1979, the Fairfax County School Board passed a resolution renaming Annandale High School’s stadium the J.W. Wallace Bolding Stadium. J. Wallace Bolding was a dedicated teacher, coach, and counselor at Annandale until his retirement in January 1979. He sadly passed away from a heart attack in August of that year.
The stadium dedication, held in his honor, took place in September 1979. Contributions to the J. Wallace Bolding Memorial Fund are welcome, with all funds designated for stadium improvements.
Today, J. Wallace Bolding Stadium serves as the home field for the Annandale Atoms lacrosse team. Located at 4700 Medford Drive, Annandale, VA 22003, the stadium features a turf field, seating for 1,500 spectators, and a press box.
Directions: From I-495, take exit 52A for Little River Turnpike (VA-236) East. Turn right onto Medford Drive. The stadium is located on the right.
Parking: Parking is available in the school parking lot. Additional parking is available on the street.
Concessions: Concessions are available at the stadium. Cash and credit cards are accepted.
Restrooms: Restrooms are located inside the stadium near the home team seating area.

VHSL Information
The Virginia High School League (VHSL) is the principal sanctioning organization for interscholastic athletic competition among public high schools in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The VHSL is a non-profit organization that sponsors activities in 27 sports and 11 academic activities.
